I’ve done a variety of video and other media lately that (some) readers may find interesting.
1) I did a three hour (!) lecture on fiscal theory for PhD students, sponsored by the macro-finance society. It mostly covers my most recent effort, “Inflation and Debt.” Though aimed at PhD students it’s very history heavy and equation light. The link has the lecture video and slides too. Thanks much to Stavros Panageas for organizing and just enough hard questions to keep it lively.
2) Megan Leonhardt at Barron’s did a Q&A on interest rates and inflation, [link now fixed] following up on my post. She did a great job of boiling down a long conversation. Explainig long-run neo-Fisherism clearly, without equations, and without sounding like an idiot was a challenge. You may disagree on whether we achieved the latter. Carolyn Fong took this great photo.
3) Gabriel Roca did a very nice and longer interview for Valor, a Brazilian magazine. I gather FTPL is pretty popular in Brazil, as it should be!
4) Finally, Thibault Schrepel hosted me for a wide-ranging and very fun interview on his Scaling Theory podcast (Apple podcasts, Spotify, Youtube). On x, Thibault picked a great summary quote
I asked John H. Cochrane the simplest question I could think of. How do you get economic growth? His answer: mind the store, get out of the way, let the innovation happen. When problems show up, regulate on the evidence. Then he adds the part that stings... nobody ever won an election with that.

Thanks for the links. Very helpful!
I think the link for the Barron's Q&A isn't correct. It takes you to your post.
