The items on the list of this New Deal precursor demonstrates the enviable all knowing planning capacities of the potential upcoming Harris administration. All our economic problems will be resolved. Damn the torpedoes, and spend, print, and green invest full speed away

I want to add one fun fact. No Republican or Democratic nominee for President has ever campaigned on the policy of implementing newly designed price controls.

Price controls as a formative political economic policy is a new and bold innovation.

Diocletian's villa is today about half of the old town of Split, Croatia. It was much more like a castle than a villa.

We have so much history as to the failures of price controls. An imbalance between supply and demand. Shortages and underground markets. Less supply, thereby increasing demand. Rent control forcing landlords to let their properties deteriorate. Less incentive for new building. Drop in quality as revenue declines. Production will decline. Less innovation.
